Business Meeting with Prime Minister of Singapore
and the accompanying delegation on

Wednesday, 11th July 2012 at

Shah Jehan Hall, Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi.

This programme invitation is from I.I.T. Kanpur Distinguished Alumni Award Winner Shri Shantanu Srivastava.

Pre-registration is a must for security reasons.

Therefore those members interested in attending may confirm with details and address to the undersigned at the earliest but not later than thursday 5th July 2012 so that the Invitation for the registration in their name can be arranged / sent.

Official Singapore Delegation

This will comprise about 25 pax including officials from the ministries of Foreign Affairs and Education and economic agencies but the notable core include:

2. Mrs Lee Hsien Loong (aka Madam Ho Ching, CEO of Temasek Holdings)
3. Speaker of Parliament, Mr Michael Palmer
4. Minister of Education, Mr Heng Swee Keat
5. Acting High Commissioner, Mr Jonathan Tow
6. Member of Parliament, Dr Muhamad Faisal Ibrahim
7. Member of Parliament, Mr Gan Thaim Poh
8. Member of Parliament, Dr Janil Puthucheary
Business Delegation led by the Singapore Business Federation Delegation (SBF)
Pls see attached and also includes the SBF CEO, Mr Ho Meng Kit and three other staff from the chambers totalling 33 pax.
Other invitations
Mission will be inviting other participants to the event and will route the names to ASSOCHAM shortly so that the invitations can be sent out directly.
Programme / Order of Proceedings
·        As discussed Singapore High Commission will provide an order of proceedings with PM arriving at 1245 and ushered into a waiting room with the 3 presidentss and the Indian minister where they will mingle for 5 mins. (Although we are now uncertain if there will be an Indian minister?)
·        Q&A – each chamber will nominate 3 guests to pose questions to the PM. Appreciate if the questions may be submitted to me by this Friday, 6 July 2012.
